+1 with Sunset. However, I have found poor information coming from their employees regarding what they sell. On more than a few occasions, they unknowingly tried to pass of one type of grain as a another which would have ruined my beer. With that being said, be a little cautious.
One an up note, their hop selection is great and their malt selection is decent. Though, not always the best selection for base malt. I usually use northcountry malt for my malt, which I buy by the sack. Northcountry’s prices are the best around for those.
I am selling 55lb bags of Canadian 2-row pale malt for $50/bag. Beers of the World usually has a good selection of fairly fresh yeast packs, but the hops are hit or miss. It’s also nice to browse the store and grab a few bottles for “inspiration”
We are trying to gain the knowledge needed to make sure we have the best beer store in town. We also have had a price drop of about 20% store wide for brewing supplies and i believe we have the most grains locally and for sure we have a great hop selection.follow us on face book for specials.
