We’re seeing a lot of bogus user registrations on the site (people coming from .ru addresses, etc.). If everyone could take a little time to add personal information (especially your names!) it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you everyone for the great feedback on the Web site and all of the suggestions for where you’d like to see it go. Here is a wishlist of the ideas so far:

• online membership renewal and registration
• “ad banners” advertising our sponsors and contributors to the competition(s)
• more porn (seriously…quite a few of you asked for this)
• online competition/event registration
• recipe exchange

Please let me know what other ideas and suggestions you have. This is your Web site and, with your help, we have the chance to make it into a great resource for UNYHA members. Please add your suggestions (and questions?) to the comments below.

Everyone, please take some time to register with the site. With the loss of the old site, we’ve lost everyones’ previous login information. Once you’ve registered, you’ll become a subscriber of the site and will be able to comment on blog posts.

At this point, I’m not ready to open the site up to other editors — I’d like to get our base set of plugins nailed down and stabilize the functionality a bit more. Once you’re registered, please let me know how you’d like to help and we can start discussing roles and responsibilities.

Also, if you have any content you’d like to see posted (previous newsletters, event information, etc.) please pass it along. I’m trying to get an idea of what content sections we need and how best to organize it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

UPDATE: Just to clarify and avoid any confusion: the articles and posts on this site are public and can be viewed by anyone. I’m asking UNYHA members to register to add comments and to get everyones’ usernames into the system in the event that we get a Discussion Forum up and running. This will also help us send emails out to our members and cut down on comment spam. Thank you for your help and sorry for any inconvenience.

UNYHA members, please send along comments and suggestions for the new site. I’m testing out various plugins and functionality for the new UNYHA Web site and want to make sure everyones’ wants and needs are addressed. I’d already started on a “Wishlist” for the previous incarnation of the site but, with the new one, I’d like to get a better idea of what’s relevant and what new functionality people are looking for.
