You could tell him to go to Sunset Hydroponics, but their prices are very high for a sack of malt. I have used North Country Malt Supply several times with great luck. Even with shipping on a bag of malt the prices are cheaper and the malt is fresh and of great quality. Thomas Faucett Marris Otter is like $40/bag. Wicked great deal.

Tina,
Any chance they had some North Coast there?...Like, maybe Old Stock Ale? I talked to one of the main guys there back in July (can't remember his name) about bringing it in, and he said he would check on it. Sadly, I haven't been back since then, even though I work, literally, 1 mile away.

I'm thinking this particular beer is an issue with the distributor (Sheehan), since the museum has not received any yet either, and it is released in March.

Tina, just a minor correction - I think you mean Stone "Levitation," not "Leviathan." Far from being a monster, Levitation is a very drinkable hoppy amber ale at 4.4% abv. Southern Tier Hop Sun is still my favorite American session beer, but Stone Levitation is my second favorite.

Tina, thanks for grabbing the Goose Island Christmas, and for the heads-up..I'll add it to the tasting notes I'm preparing for the session. I'll have to hit up Southtown, as I rarely go there. The Unibroue Seigneuriale is a favorite of mine, and unfortunately is being scaled back to the immediate Chambly region only.
I'm going to send out a big reminder e-mail about the BJCP Session on the 2nd the day before Thanksgiving with a tentative beer list.

I always like to see how other people are doing things. I think it would be great to see brewing setups, keg setups, etc.
