UNYHA Annual Homebrew Competitions
Since UNYHA’s inception in 1979, our club has been hosting an annual homebrewing competition.
This year’s competition, the 32nd Annual UNYHA / 21st New York State Open Homebrew Competition, will be held on Saturday, March 27th, 2010 at Rohrbach Brewing Company’s downtown location at 97 Railroad Street. (Note the change in venue – we will be downtown, not at Buffalo Road!) The post-competition banquet will follow at 6:30 p.m. The Railroad Street brewery is spacious and will have more than adequate room for our banquet and awards ceremony.
The banquet will be buffet style this year. Here is a link to a PDF file of the menu. The price is $20, which includes tax and tip. Please let Kira Barnes know if you would be interested in attending, and how many guests will be with you. We will take payments for the banquet at the next UNYHA monthly meeting (March 10), or you may use the PayPal link on the UNYHA website (or mail a check by snail mail to UNYHA, P.O. Box 23541, Rochester, NY 14692).

Please use the following PDF forms for your bottle tags and entry forms. Information on the beer styles, including category and subcategory numbers, can be found on the BJCP website. You will need bottle tags for each entry; please fill out your name and the entry information on the Brewer Information and Entry Form for each entry as well. We will need at least one Brewer Information and Entry Form filled out completely with your address, info for the prize committee, and number of entries plus total.
